The Town of Rainbow Lake is issuing a mandatory evacuation order for the entire Town of Rainbow Lake. We will be evacuating to the Town of High Level Arena at 10101 105 Ave, High Level, Alberta. They are waiting to receive us and have beds and space available. If you have a camper there is space available to accommodate them. We will have a check stop setup at the Chateh Road turnoff to register everyone leaving town so we can keep in touch with you. Please make sure you have identification for registration. The mandatory evacuation deadline will be 6:30pm. This means you must be out of Town BEFORE 6:30pm. Please be calm, drive safe. The fire is not on our doorstep right now, but it has gotten too big to control so we are making the safe decision to leave now.
