Mackenzie County has begun the process of their Municipal Ward Boundary and Council Structure Review.
The Provincial Ministry of Municipal Affairs has now engaged a consulting firm to prepare for that review.
The County report is recommending the restructuring of a seven-ward electroral system, down from the current ten.
A census is underway in the county right now, and results will come forward later this month.
