Some suspects have court dates in October following separate incidents in the Driftpile Cree Nation community.
According to the Lakeshore Regional Police Service, officers were investigating a drug trafficking operation in the area.
A search warrant was obtained for a house and on May 28, police ended up seizing: methamphetamine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, Canadian cash believed to be from drug trafficking and cell phones.
An adult male and female were both arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.
Both suspects have been released and have a court date of October 19 in High Prairie.
The investigation continued and that led to a second search warrant of a house in the community on May 30.
As a result of this search officers ended up seizing: eight firearms, methamphetamine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, a large amount of Canadian money and cell phones.
That search led to the arrest of three adult males and an adult female.
The charges include: possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, careless use of a firearm and breaching release conditions.
These four suspects have been released and will have an opportunity to respond to the charges in court on October 26 in High Prairie.
The Lakeshore Regional Police Service did not release the identities of the suspects, or if any of them were involved in both incidents.
