Investigation Continues into Fatal Hit-and-Run near Peerless Lake

The investigation continues into a fatal hit-and-run near Peerless Lake early Sunday morning.

Red Earth Creek RCMP says that emergency responders responded to a serious pedestrian collision at 12:50 AM on Highway 686.

Police add that the victim was a 25-year-old man from Peerless Lake. He died at the scene.

Investigators have determined that the man was hit by a vehicle. Said vehicle was not at the scene of the accident when police arrived, and is still at large.
