The town of High Prairie is looking for a new CAO, after just two-and-a-half weeks.
Sherry Poole has been relived of her duties, after many meetings on the subsequent hiring of Poole as CAO.
Originally, High Prairie Town Council 4-3 in favour of hiring Poole in the position.
Now, Council has unanimously voted to terminate her employment, citing false information contained in her application and corresponding impact on the Town’s reputation.
According to the Town’s motion at Council, it was also stated the decision was cited that it would have an impact on Poole’s ability to succeed as CAO.
