High Level RCMP are investigating a “suspicious occurrence” that happened at the centennial splash park on Friday afternoon.
Police received a report that a suspicious male had picked up a young child and tried to walk away when he was confronted by the child’s mother.
The suspect who was not aggressive put the child down, then departed the scene as did the mother and child.
Officers have not received a report from the mother and are asking her to contact police, and are looking for public help in trying to find the suspect.
The suspects is described as:
· Indigenous
· Male
· 40 to 55 years old
· Over 6 feet tall
· Slim build
· Wearing ear buds, black hoodie, black sweatpants with a red stripe, and running shoes.
