Community Invited to Share Their Thoughts on Air Passenger Service
High Level, Alberta – The Town of High Level is excited to announce the development of its Airport Master Plan. The master plan will guide the growth and development of the airport over the next several years. The plan will be developed based on community input and feedback, making it a truly collaborative effort.
The Town of High Level hired airport planning and development firm The Loomex Group to conduct the plan development and stakeholder engagement. To gather input from community members, the Town is inviting local residents, businesses, and community organizations to participate in a public online survey. The online public survey is intended to help uncover future demand for air travel from the High Level Airport.
“We believe that community engagement is key to developing an Airport Master Plan that reflects the needs of residents, businesses and community partners both within and surrounding the Town of High Level,” said Ron Leaf, the Town’s Chief Administrative Officer. “We encourage all members of the community to take part in the survey to help us understand the collective air passenger travel needs, requirements and expectations.”
The survey is available online at https://bit.ly/high-level-airport-passenger-demand and will be open until June 25, 2024. The survey is expected to take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
