They are new pieces of equipment at the High Level Fire Department.
Four Wildland Skit Units are now on duty, as they have the ability to turn a pick-up truck into a fire truck.
Of the four units, one has been transferred to Rainbow Lake for the season, and one was pressed into duty for the fires in the Northwest Territories.
High Level Fire Chief Rodney Schmidt says it for use in High Level, and beyond.
He also talks about a colleague mentioning these units and suggested these for High Level.
