Two familiar names will continue to lead the Holy Family Catholic Regional Division’s Board of Trustees.
At its most recent meeting, the board re-elected Kelly Whalen as Board Chair, and Brian Hill as Vice-Chair after an uncontested nomination for both positions.
Whalen has been the Board Chair since 2016 and has been a trustee with the HFCRD since 2011.
“I am very grateful for the opportunity to serve the HFCRD community for another year as Board Chair,” says Whalen in a statement.
“The role of Board Chair has been very rewarding and I look forward to another fantastic year of important work with our Board and division administration. Consistency is especially important this year as we work to re-open HFCRD schools safely. I would like to thank all HFCRD staff for their hard work and dedication to the safety of all families.”
Hill will be entering his second year as Vice-Chair and this will be his third year on the board overall.
“Thank you to the Board of Trustees for re-electing me as the Vice Chair of this great school division,” Hill says.
“I am humbled to represent the entire school division, and especially my school community I care so much about.”
Whalen is the trustee for Ward 3, and Hill represents Ward 4.
