After over 25 years of dedicated service to the Town of Grimshaw, Chief Administrative Officer Brian Allen has announced his resignation.
Allen will assume the CAO position with the Municipal District of Peace No. 135, effective July 14, 2025.
Reflecting his tenure, Allen expressed gratitude to the council, staff, and residents, highlighting collaborative achievements like the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex and partnerships leading to new schools and a public library.
Mayor Wendy Wald praised Allen’s leadership during significant events, including the 2003 windstorm and the 2008 arena fire.
The Town of Grimshaw has initiated the search for a new CAO.
