The Lakeside Golf & Country Club in Eaglesham is where we’re going for our next golf course feature.
Duncan Finlayson from the course says there’s a couple of holes there that are popular with golfers.
“#7 is a very picturesque one, but #8 is probably the most popular one because of the difficulty. There’s water on both sides of the fairway and just before the green so it’s a tough hole.”
Finlayson says they’ve been receiving a lot of positive feedback from people who’ve played the course in its condition.
He also says one of their league nights is incredibly popular.
“We do a junior program on Tuesday afternoons and then Tuesday evening is the Ladies night, Wednesday is Mens night and Friday we do a very popular one, it’s our couples night. We even get people from Grande Prairie coming to that, they don’t want to miss it because it’s so much fun.”
