Alberta fire services has updated us with following information:
Yesterday had a few flareups amongst the center of the burn area causing additional smoke. Ground and air crews are working on hotspots and guards on the east end.
They are predicting that with the forecasted rain for the next couple days they will be able to gain control.
Fire Services has confirmed that even though the fire is slowly moving the fire has not crossed over to the Montney/Carters Camp area, and they are continuing to monitor the fire activity closely.
