They are asking “How can watershed and land-use management help to address the risks of fire?”.
The Mighty Peace Watershed Alliance is answering that question by hosting a one-day forum in Grande Prairie.
The Fire and Water Forum takes place next Thursday (Feb. 28) at the TARA Center.
With the fires that happened in the Peace and Mackenzie this past spring and summer, stewards are looking for answers and input to manage fire risks.
Keynote speakers, insight, and networking will be part of this event, that brings together the understanding of fire and watershed management.
