A Saskatchewan judge has approved that a 50-thousand dollar interim payment will be made to each of the survivors and family members of those killed in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash.
15.1 million dollars was raised in the GoFundMe campaign that was started in dedication to all affected by the crash.
A Humboldt Broncos Memorial Fund’s lawyer says that the payments will be made in a matter of days.
How the rest of the money raised will be used or distributed will be decided on by a 5 member advisory committee. Those involved in the committee will bring their work to the memorial fund along with a plan for court approval by mid November.
