The FCC says this type of event is a practical way to help producers improve their management skills, get information and insight from leading farm management experts, as well as gaining a deeper understanding of the agriculture business.
The speaker at this event is Terry Betker, who is currently President and C-E-O of Backswath Management Incorporated. Betker, a professional agrologist who is also certified as both a agricultural and management consultant, he’s delivered farm business management presentations to various agriculture organizations throughout North America, as well as in Chile, New Zeland, Poland and the Netherlands.
During the session, the FCC says that attendees will gain insight into what their numbers really mean, and learn how to turn that information into action.
They’ll also learn how to explore the options for organizing their financial statements, find out why it matters how the numbers are presented, and understand the financial buzzwords they hear regularly. Each attendee will also get tips on making the most of their bookkeeping software.
Anyone who wishes to attend this event can find out even more information at www.fcc.ca/agknowledge.
