Joe Fawcett was recently selected as the Director of Mill Operations for Mercer Peace River. Fawcett is originally from Grimshaw who graduated from Fairview College as a 4th Class Power Engineer. Fawcett has been with the organization since 1992, starting as a Power and Recovery Operating Technician, and is currently the Operational Excellence
Manager. The Managing Director of Mercer Peace River, Roger Ashfeild said “Due to Joe’s extensive experience working at every level within operations, he stood out as a strong candidate for this role.”
Joe Fawcett stated that he is very grateful for this opportunity, and that he looks forward to helping MPR achieve new and exciting goals in his new role. He will begin his new position on January 9th, 2023.
