Faust RCMP lay charges and seize over 2 kilograms of cocaine after traffic stop

Faust, Alta. – On Jan. 20, 2025, Faust RCMP, assisted by Lakeshore Regional Police and High Prairie RCMP, conducted a traffic stop in the area of 46 Street, in High Prairie, Alta., after observing a vehicle stunting.

Throughout the course of the investigation, the two males from the vehicle, were charged.

Zylo Sebastian Badger (19), a resident of High Prairie, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.

Badger was brought before a Justice of the Peace, where he was remanded with a court date of Jan. 22, 2025 at the Alberta Court of Justice in Slave Lake, Alta.

Navdeep Dhiman (20), a resident of Edmonton, Alta., was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, and unauthorized possession of a prohibited/restricted weapon.

Dhiman was brought before a Justice of the Peace, where he was released with a court date of Feb. 3, 2025, at the Alberta Court of Justice in High Prairie.

Additionally, RCMP seized approximately 2.2 kilograms of suspected cocaine, over $13,000 in cash and drug paraphernalia.

RCMP aim to protect our communities on a daily basis and our community members have been loud and clear that they do not want drugs in the area.  Removing quantities such as this from our northern areas is a step in that direction.
