Farmer’s Appreciation Day Saturday in Nampa (Amber Houle)

nsc_marketing_original

It’s a day to be celebrated, as farmers mark the end of seeding and calving season.

The Farmer’s Day event is getting set to go on Saturday from 12-4 at Mill Brown Park in Nampa.

Traditionally held in the second week of June, it’s a chance to get the farmers and ranchers together with their families, after a busy last couple of months.

It’s also a chance for the community and surrounding area to show appreciation to the farming community for their hard work and contributions.

The celebration is for everyone to attend, that will include Bouncy Castles, a foam pit, glitter tattoos, snow cones, and self-guided games, among other attractions.

Did I mention the event is FREE to attend?

The Director of Community Services for Northern Sunrise County, is Amber Houle.
