Who wants a Large Double Double? It appears that Fairview is finally getting a Tim Hortons.
Residents have waited years for it to be official. At tonight’s Town Council Meeting, that dream could take the next step of coming to fruition.
On May 26th a development permit was signed by Brandy MacInnis of Dillon Consulting Limited to build a 1.5 million dollar drive thru restaurant at 11028 100 ave in Fairview.
Attached to the permit is a map showing the location and design for a Tim Hortons.
Construction would take place just off highway 2 next to a turn around that was built years ago.
If approved by Town Council, construction is expected to start this summer, with an estimated completion of October.
