
On July 20, Alberta Health Services confirmed 368 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 9,587.
It was also reported that three people passed away. 170 Albertans have now died from COVID-19.
In the North Zone, there are 436 cases of COVID-19 and 17 people have passed away.
There are currently 76 active cases in our zone with 36 cases in Mackenzie County, and 11 in Clear Hills County.
AHS is reporting that 8,308 people have recovered from the virus.
This means that there are currently 1,109 active cases across Alberta.
To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing your hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
