Todd Loewen is joining another provincial committee.
The MLA for Central Peace-Notley was appointed to the newly formed Firearms Advisory Committee.
Loewen was part of a group last year that joined Premier Jason Kenney in Ottawa to talk to the federal government about a fair deal for the province.
