Peace Regional RCMP on scene to multi vehicle collision on the East Hill
Peace River, Alta. – On Nov. 9, 2023, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Peace Regional RCMP responded to a report of a serious motor vehicle collision in the area of Highway 2 commonly referred to as the East Hill.
Peace Regional RCMP, RCMP Collision Analyst, Peace River Fire and Emergency Medical Services and STARS are on scene and ask motorists to avoid the area if possible as the collision is blocking a significant portion of the road making it impassable. Motorists are asked to find alternate routes while emergency crews continue to lend assistance which is expected for several more hours.
