Body Found in Lesser Slave River Identified as Missing Woman

The body of a missing 21-year-old woman has been identified.

Nicole Brendan Robar was found in the Lesser Slave River on August 5, 2017. An autopy was conducted on August 11.

At this time, RCMP are treating the death as suspicious.

Robar was reported missing on August 1 after having last been seen in Spruce Grove on July 14. Police believe that she was living in Slave Lake at the time of death.

The victim’s family has been advised of the identification, and has requested that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.
