Big Lakes County Council Appoints CAO
December 13, 2023: At a Regular Council meeting held on December 13, 2023, Big Lakes County Council unanimously approved the appointment of Mr. David Reynolds as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Big Lakes County, effective December 13, 2023. Mr. Reynolds has been acting as Interim CAO since September 26, 2023.
David brings a wealth of financial and leadership experience to this pivotal role, and Council is confident in the positive impact his leadership will have on our community.
Reeve Tyler Airth expressed enthusiasm for the new CAO appointment, stating, “On behalf of Big Lakes County Council and our community, I extend a warm welcome to David. We believe his skills and vision align perfectly with our County’s strategic plan. We look forward to working closely together to achieve continued success and progress within our County.”
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) serves as the sole employee of Council, acting as the administrative leader overseeing County operations and managing the day-to-day activities of the County.
In response to the appointment, David shared, “I am truly honored to continue working with the Big Lakes County community as the Chief Administrative Officer. I look forward to working collaboratively with Council, staff, and residents to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our vibrant County.”
