BISHOP ROUTHIER SCHOOL OPENS ITS DOORS TO PARENTS THIS EVENING

Parents in the Peavine Metis settlement will have an opportunity to meet with their educators in-person this evening.

The Bishop Routhier School is soliciting feedback from parents on ways to improve its local education offerings.

Northland School divison Communications Coordinator, Curtis Walty says this is essentially an opportunity for the school division and staff to hear from the parents on what are some ways to improve the quality of education through live interactions in an informal setting.

“We want to have as many face-to-face conversations with parents as much as s we can; there hasn’t been a review of this sort for some time now and  we thought this was a good opportunity for parents and children. For all of these communities, sending an email or a newsletter isn’t enough, so having community engagement is very important.”

A light meal and a chance to win door prizes are also part of the evening’s offerings.

The conversation is set to begin at 5 PM.
