The Member of Parliament for Peace River-Westlock is not ready to throw his support behind a perspective party leader as of yet.
Arnold Viersen says he has spoken with many of the candidates.
“I have taken calls from several of the leadership candidates but I am not ready to endorse anyone at this time,” says Viersen.
Viersen says he endorsed outgoing Party Leader, Andrew Scheer in 2017 and is sad that Scheer decided to step down.
“I guess I am still mourning the loss of Andrew and haven’t quite come to grips with where I am going to go from here yet,” mentions Viersen.
So far, the following eight candidates are on the list for the party’s leadership election, which is set for June 27 in Toronto (current MP’s are in bold).
