
With temperatures expected to plummet in the coming days, the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society is putting out an urgent plea for people to open their homes to foster dogs and puppies.
The group says its current situation is “critical” with numerous puppies and dogs in shelters awaiting foster care.
Officials are expecting an increase in rescue calls as it gets colder outside.
Locally, the Peace Regional SPCA says they’re currently at capacity for dogs and are looking for some foster homes.
