Hailey Benedict a former headliner on River Country Rising Stars has announced signing a deal with Big Loud and Local Hay. Big Loud is a Nashville label while Local Hay a Vancouver based label, which works in partnership with Big Loud that was found by Dallas Smith has signed last years Top of Country contest winner Hailey Benedict who hails from St. Albert to a deal joing Shawn Austin as the other member of Local Hay.
Hailey made the announcement the Billboard Canada’s Women in Music event in Toronto saying: “I’m ecstatic to begin this new chapter with such an incredibly creative and dedicated team that shares my vision for my songwriting, artistry and career. After a decade as an independent artist, it was crucial for me to partner with a record label that aligns with my values and passion for music. I truly believe I’ve found the perfect home with Big Loud and Local Hay. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to every single person who has supported and championed my music and journey throughout the years. This would not be possible without your support, and I can’t wait to see what is to come next.”
Well what is next she is up for a couple CCMAs this weekend in her hometown of Edmonton and the release of her new single which is coming out next month on October 4th called ‘Things My Mama Says.”
It will be interesting to see where this deal will take the young singer-songwriter.
