The court proceedings for two individuals charged in connection with the “In the Woods Animal Rescue” case are moving forward.
Sheryl Woods and Cheryl Bastien are scheduled to attend pre-trial conferences in Grande Prairie this afternoon. In addition, Woods is expected to appear in court again in early May in Valleyview.
Both women were arrested last fall after authorities discovered more than 300 animals in distress at rescue facilities located in Marie Reine and the MD of Smoky River.
