Residents in Peace River are being advised of several traffic disruptions affecting key routes in the area.
102 Street near Peace River High School is currently closed due to a localized landslide.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use 90 Avenue and 99 Street as alternate routes around the school and past the RCMP station.
The closure will remain in place while crews assess the site for safety, and motorists are urged to follow all posted signage and give workers plenty of space.
Meanwhile, the access road for Lower West Peace continues to operate under single-lane traffic because of ongoing hill movement.
And starting tomorrow through May 2nd, drivers should prepare for significant overnight delays on the Peace River bridge. Expect wait times of up to 45 minutes between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Officials recommend planning ahead and allowing extra travel time.
