From April 27th to May 3rd, Tim Hortons locations across northern Alberta are serving up smiles for a cause.
It’s all part of the annual Smile Cookie Week, where a special decorated chocolate chunk cookie is sold for two dollars, with one hundred percent of proceeds going directly to local charities and community groups.
In Peace River, funds will support the Peace River Rotaract club, while in Fairview, proceeds go to Ignite, part of the North Peace Youth Support Association.
High Prairie will benefit the Big Lakes County Animal Care Facility, and in Valleyview, donations will help the Valleyview and District Early Learning and Childcare Centre Society.
Meanwhile, High Level supports the Northwest Health Foundation.
Organizers say every cookie makes a difference, encouraging residents to take part, give back, and share a smile with their community.
