The Village of Berwyn is welcoming a new member to its administrative team, announcing that Carol Haney has joined the municipality as its new Financial Assistant.
Carol brings a strong background in customer service and finance, including 12 years of experience in financial institutions as well as previous work in municipal government. Her knowledge of finance and commitment to public service are expected to be valuable assets in supporting the Village’s operations.
Carol and her family are well connected to Berwyn. After recently moving back to the area, they continue a long family history in the community. Her parents have lived in Berwyn for more than 14 years, and her grandparents were well-known residents of the Berwyn Lodge and active participants in the local church.
Carol says she is looking forward to growing in the role and appreciates the Village’s strong sense of community. She shared that she enjoys working in smaller, close-knit environments where strong, supportive relationships can be built, and is eager to contribute to the shared goal of helping Berwyn thrive.
