This funding includes $6 million for operational costs and $21.5 million for school improvements.
Collegiate schools offer students hands-on experience and direct pathways to post-secondary education and employment by connecting classroom learning with real-world careers.
In the 2025-26 school year, 16 new collegiate schools will provide specialized programming in fields such as science, aviation, technology, engineering, agriculture, business, information communications, and the trades.
Additionally, four existing collegiate schools will receive funding to enhance their facilities, including the development of specialized learning spaces like film and media studios and skilled trades labs.
