Officials all across the country are sending condolences to the nation’s Filipino community following the Lapu Lapu Day tragedy in Vancouver.
In a statement, Peace River Elaine Manzer says flags remain at half-staff, and the half-masted Phillippines flag will remain at the roundabout in Downtown Peace River throughout the week.
Manzer adds that the town stands united, sharing in grief and offering support.
