Slave Lake RCMP charge 4 in relation to assault and robbery
Slave Lake, Alta. – On June 16, 2023, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Slave Lake RCMP responded to reports of a robbery and theft of a motor vehicle.
RCMP located an injured male and observed he had obtained significant facial injuries. He reported he was robbed of his vehicle and a quantity of cash. Emergency Medical Services attended and assisted to care for the individual while Slave Lake RCMP, along with the Slave Lake General Investigation Section, initiated an investigation. Three people have been charged as a result.
Shyanne Louise Davies (27), a resident of Faust, is charged with:
· Robbery
· Aggravated Assault
· Take Motor Vehicle without Consent
Dakota Richard Auger (28), and Gordon Elwyn MacDonald (35), both residents of Slave Lake, are charged with:
· Robbery
· Assault Causing Bodily Harm
Stephen Mick Favel (29), a resident of Slave Lake, is charged with:
· Robbery
· Assault Causing Bodily Harm
· Theft of Motor Vehicle
All parties had judicial interim release hearings and were released for court in Slave Lake. Davies was released for court on July 12, 2023. Auger was released for court on June 28, 2023 and MacDonald was released with a court date of July 19, 2023.
Favel’s whereabouts are unknown and there is an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
