
Two people from Grimshaw are facing charges as a result of a firearms investigation.
Peace Regional RCMP executed a couple of search warrants on homes in Grimshaw last week and a number of items were seized.
12.4 grams of cocaine; estimated value of $1,200.00
66.2 grams of methamphetamine; estimated value of $1,000
2 digital scales with residue
$125.00 cash in Canadian currency
Over 60 rounds of various types of ammunition
1 flare gun
1 working cell phone in relation to Trafficking related to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
1 firearm with ammunition
Travis Adams (44), a resident of Grimshaw, was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x2 (Cocaine and methamphetamine).
Jesse Jackson (43), a resident of Grimshaw, was charged with:
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x2 (Cocaine and methamphetamine)
Possession of Weapons contrary to Order
They will both make court appearances later this month.
Police officers say that the file is still under active investigation.
