The wildfires are dominating the headlines and conversations in the Peace and Mackenzie Regions.
Residents and municipalities are on either evacuation order or alert, as blazes continue to rage.
Farmers and Ranchers in the area are also on notice, but have additional concerns with their fields, and their livestock.
Fortunately, the Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies have had municipal societies open their doors to make space available for livestock to be housed, while the situation is at hand.
Ag. Societies and Event Centers in Bezanson, Eaglesham, Eureka River, High Prairie, La Glace, Peace River, and Valleyview have opened their doors and gates to allow livestock to take shelter.
