Chase Matthew known for his number one hit single in the US, top ten in Canada, “Darlin” made a line up change to his touring band following his bassist Carsen Richards (22), facing some serious charges. The bassist has been arrest and being charged with sodomy and incest involving a person under 18 by a person three or more years older. This arrest took place following Chase’s performance at a Kentucky music festival.
The dropping of Richards is no surprise, especially given what he is charged with and Chase Matthew released a statement to his social media accounts posting the following message from his Instagram account:
As of now no changes to Chase’s performance schedule as a new bassist will need to be found.
