Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Town of Peace River has issued a Flood alert.
There is a potential of flooding of the Heart River and surrounding areas.
Area: This alert is in effect for everyone from the Highway 2 Bridge to 104 Ave in the South End (all of the Downtown, and areas close to the Heart River). See map for details.

Action to take:
- Prepare for a possible evacuation on very short notice
- Fuel your vehicles, gather important documents, medication, pets, and food and water
- Prepare to be away from home for at least 3 days
- No evacuation is required at this time
- Avoid the river area
