Non-profits that are recreation or cultural based in the County of Northern Lights are able to apply for the Community Capital Assistance Program this year.
CCAP provides financial assistance to non-profits requiring funding for building, renovating or upgrading new/existing capital facilities and/or structures.
To be eligible for the assistance the requests must meet one of the following criteria: general exposure and profile, economic benefit or promote civic pride/sense of place.
Total funding allocated for the program is $50,000, with up to 25% of the grant available for the surrounding communities of Manning, Grimshaw and Peace River.
Applications can start being submitted for CCAP on April 1, 2022 until May 2, 2022. To find all the program criteria and application forms, click here.
The County of Northern Lights CCAP has been in effect since 2010, supporting numerous groups with projects from playgrounds to hall renovations.
