To Kettle-Cook Or Not To Kettle-Cook That Is The Question

We just came off of a great long weekend and hopefully, it was awesome for everybody! Mine was awesome! It was fun and relaxing! while I was taking it easy I was able to snack on some chips. which got me thinking about what kind of chips everyone prefers. I don’t mean flavor-wise but the way that they are cooked. It seems like everywhere that you look there is a kettle-cooked variation of your favourite chip now. before it used to only be one brand that did this, but now it seems like everyone has their own take on it.

Honestly, though, I am all there for this kettle-cooked revolution. that satisfying crunch that you get from a kettle-cooked chip is something that you are just not able to find anywhere else. Regular chips almost seem soggy after eating a bunch of kettle-cooked chips, which may seem weird, but it makes it hard to go back.

One time I even tried chips that claimed to be double the crunch. They were kettle-cooked and had ridges in them that resulted in them actually being super crunchy. But enough of me gushing about kettle-cooked chips what did everyone else think?

On KIX FM 62% of people agreed with me saying that kettle-cooked chips are the way to go. Now I’ve said how much I love these things, so to be fair to regular chips, I won’t tell this 63% that they’re right, because regular chips are still good, but I also will say that you’re not wrong…

In River Country, we had the opposite vote with 63% saying regular chips are better. Now to that, I will say they’re wrong…just kidding…but not really. We also had a minority of 37% of people say that kettle cooked is the way to go.

Overall surprised by the results this time around it seems like each station prefers one type of chip over the other. KIX loves the crunch and River Country is kicking it back plain jane style. Both are good options…but one is still better.

I like to ask a different question over on our Instagram story everyday I’m on air.

You can answer today’s question here: on KIX FM or on RIVER COUNTRY
