With the High Prairie Elks Pro Rodeo on again today and the North Peace Stampede this weekend in Grimshaw I wanted to share this video. This video shows a teenager win a professional bull riding competition many years before he would become chart topper. Who is it ? Well it is the “Dear Rodeo” singer himself a young Cody Johnson.
Cody would give up rodeo to focus on his music career and even penned and amazing song about it, that he would even do a version with the legend herself Reba McEntire.
Here is a teenage Cody Johnson putting veterans on notice with an 88.75 and winning his first ever BFTS event.
