This weekend on Rising Stars our headliner is Megan Paige. Megan is a young and talented singer-songwriter from Millet, Alberta and is poised to begin making some noise especially with her brand new single “Yesterday’s Rain.”
Megan has been recording professionally since she was 16, and has began to her career have a major upturn since turning 18, being eligible to perform in bars and establishments more freely. She recently won the Global Country Star Search, which will take her down to Nashville and the NACMAI competition in the spring of 2024.
I was fortunate to meet Megan at the CCMA Week in 2022 in Calgary, speaking to her at Media Row and got to hear her play during the Diamonds in the Rough Showcase this past CCMA’s in Hamilton. She is poised for a big 2024.
