This past weekend on River Country Rising Stars the show was headlined by Jessie Treneer aka Jessie T. Jessie is originally from Kingston, ON though resides in Kitchener making a name for herself in in the southern Ontario scene which is really blowing up with artists like Elyse Saunders and Karli June. Jessie was nominated at the recent CMAO Award for Album of the Year. Jessie who continues to make huge strides with songs like “I Can Be Your Margarite”, “Just A Number” and now “Almost Beautiful.”
Jessie’s latest single, which is co-written with Jamie Warren, comes from her 2nd album “Burning Back” which as a mentioned above was nominated for the Country Music Association of Ontario Award for Album of the Year. The song is a very personal story of hers, a heartbreak, but not the typical kind. The relationship was “perfect” in a lot of ways, but something was missing. Knowing that everyone deserves, the most pure, and fulfilling kind of love.
