This weekend on Rising Stars the show was headlined by the talented duo Foxx Worthee. Foxx Worthee is made up of Nicole and Crystal who are up for the Country Music Alberta Award (CMAB) for Fan’s Choice. The duo is originally from Saskatchewan, with both moving around over the years with currently Nicole residing in Alberta and Crystal being just outside of Vancouver in BC. The talented ladies were arranged to hang out by a co-worker as they were both anthem singers for the Regina Pats at the time, fast forward to them cranking out amazing music. These are ladies that perform with the PBR circuit meaning they do venture to Grande Prairie on occasion for events.

The song “This Ain’t My First Rodeo” is a party tune from the duo that was co-written with Chard Morrison and will get you on your feet. The song about the woman, instead of the man calling the shots on things like hooking up is a change of pace for a country song. It is a track you will be sorry you missed hearing.

In our conversation we discussed the band name, them forming and performing and of course the new single.
