This weekends headliner on River Country Rising Stars was Dayna Reid. Dayna who is from Elmvale, ON (near Collingwood) had an amazing 2023 and is looking to build on it with the release of “This House.”
In 2023, Dayna had a top 40 hit with her debut single “She’s Me,” was a semi-finalist for the Top of the Country contest and getting to open for the likes of Tim Hicks and The Hunter Brothers. Dayna has and is currently being mentored by the iconic Beverley Mahood.
The new single “This House” was co-written with Beverley Mahood and Mackenzie Shepherd, was actually her first single she wrote but found the perfect time to release it as her 3rd single.
