This weekend on Rising Stars the headliner was Cheyanne Summer and her new song “Wrong Side of My 20s.” Cheyanne is a singer-songwriter from here in Alberta down in Calgary who combines her unique style of country including elements of rock and roll, alternative, indie, R&B and do-op into her own blend.
Cheyanne’s new single “Wrong Side of My 20s” is an interesting blend of genres, including country, has some playful vibes, but the lyrics bring about the sadder realisation of growing up. Cheyanne’s look at getting older is one that is relatable to the listeners especially those who have been through their 20s or are currently going through those ages closing in on the big 3-0.
