Every year at during Canadian Country Music Week the CCMA puts on a legends show to honor the music from the past with artists of today. This can be a wildly popular event and this years will feature several artists from the Peace Region performing. Those artists include Tenille Townes (Grande Prairie), Carolyn Dawn Johnson (Grade Prairie) as well as Duane Steele (Hines Creek). While names like Tenille or even Carolyn Dawn Johnson shouldn’t be too much of a surprise given their standing as top acts, Tenille being the more current, it was a welcomed surprise to see Duane on the bill for this event taking place in Edmonton.
The other acts involved are Gord Bamford, Hailey Benedict, Dan Davidson, Jade Eagleson, Kalsey Kulyk, and Canadian Country Music Hall of Famers Michelle Wright and Patricia Conroy.
This will be a can’t miss event during Canadian Country Music Week so if you are going I’d jump on tickets ASAP.
