You need to go see this amazing movie!
…Well after you see the other 3, of course. John wick Chapter 4 picks up after the 3rd movie with him trying to escape the High Table. The problem is that a lot of people want him dead. With the bounty on his head constantly increasing he is in for a whole heap of trouble. Also really cool fight scenes. But mostly trouble.
Throughout the movie, he travels all over from new york to Paris, Japan, Berlin and others to try and find a way out. On his journey, he discovers a way to get out of his situation but it’s a risky one. Even if it works, things can never go back to the way they were.
This movie is amazing, the cinematography was so beautiful and was just an absolute treat for the eyes. Multiple times throughout this movie I wanted to take a snapshot of some of these scenes and hang it on my wall. Everything from the lighting, to the angles, to the sets used, all were amplified by seeing it on the big screen. I consider this a sign of a good movie.
Although beautiful camera work is amazing you probably are also watching John Wick for the action scenes. Don’t worry there are some really good ones here. Everything you would expect from a John Wick movie is on full display here once again. The choreography was well done and each of the fights felt distinct. There was one where John Wick was fighting around some artifacts and ends up using some nunchucks. there is another where he uses dragon’s breath Shotgun shells from a top-down view and it was such a memorable fight. Not only were each of the fights unique but so were the other prominent characters we meet. Caine is a blind assassin that fights with (you guessed it) a cane…well cane sword. His style is very fast and sometimes slightly inaccurate. We also have the tracker or Mr. nobody who fights cooperatively with his trained dog. Each of the characters felt very different and seeing them all on screen was so cool.
So from the beautiful scenes to the great fights to an interesting ending John Wick Chapter 4 is worth the watch. Even if it is almost 3 hours it doesn’t feel like it. I made a joke prediction about the ending that somehow came true. So, definitely make sure you stay till the end for a post-credits scene.
