The third time’s the charm or the third time’s the volume…wait no that doesn’t make sense!

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3! WOW! What a great movie! This is another story following the Guardians after they have been through two other films of their own as well as the Avengers movies where they have teamed up with the other heroes. This one serves to fill in some backstory specifically on Rocket Raccoon and also serves to tie up a lot of loose ends with the Guardians.

The Guardians have always been a fun ragtag group of…heroes might not be the best word but you get the idea. This movie is no exception to their usual shenanigans your in store for a lot of bickering banter and if you’ve liked the other movies you will know what to expect. This time the main drive for the Guardians is to save Rocket after he has been injured. The fun adventure of the Guardians’ rescue mission gets interspersed with the Rocket origin story and it was a somber tale that had me tearing up at points. but with the two stories intertwining I thought it kept me thoroughly engaged and wanting to know more bout the other when we switched back and forth.

The Guardians of the Galaxy are always flying to new planets to save the galaxy and they get to visit a couple of unique locations in the film. This movie deals a lot with sci-fi biology so that might give you a bit of an idea of interesting things you might see.

Of course, no Guardians of the Galaxy movie is complete without a great soundtrack and this movie once again delivers. There are definitely some new songs getting added to my playlist after this one.

Below is the trailer for the movie which actually doesn’t give too much away about the actual plot of the film. so, good job trailer! If you want to check out more of the time of this movie give it a watch.
